DC, I know where you are getting but I dont think its right or fair to say. Floyd may wasnt selling all the way out at other places but he wasnt even a quarter of the star he is now. You have to admit that. You also cant just talk about what they did outside of a Casino when Floyd has been fighting in Casinos for the last million fights now. When he wasnt fighting there he wasnt really super popula so the numbers are skewed. Shane isnt the biggest name but he's a huge name in LA so they would sellout the Staples Center. Again, I know what you are getting at but Floyd is way bigger than before and boxing is bigger now because of the 24/7. This fight will sellout wherever it goes

Last time Mayweather fought outside of Vegas was against Mitchell I think. But he wasn't even close to the status he is at now. So there is nothing to base that on.

Let's be honest, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Shane Mosely couldn't sell 10,000 tickets between them. Therefore the fight has to be in Vegas where the city and casinos will pay a huge site fee and bring the gamblers in with comp tickets to cover the bills. Could you imagine them trying to sell Mayweather/Mosely in a stadium like Dallas Stadium? Mayweather couldn't even sell in his hometown. Mosely has never been a paid live gate attraction either.
