Tapia making a comeback

Five-time world champion Johnny Tapia (56-5-2, 28 KOs) will headline a March 6 card at the Ohkay Casino near Espanola, N.M. The former champ last fought three years ago and has been in prison on a parole violation since the summer. Tapia is due to be released this or next week, but tickets for the card go on sale today (click here). An opponent has not yet been named. Stay tuned. – Chris Cozzone
