    Fenech Promises Tyson Of Old

    http://www.**********.net/pages/free3550.htm

Fenech promises Tyson of old, says that Tyson is training harder than ever. He says Tyson is already sparring 6 rounds and has 6 weeks to go. Fenech is focusing of stamina which is great for Tyson.

I have too heard alot of good things from Fenech and the Tyson camp(care of tysontalk.com). Fenech has even gone on to say that Tyson could regain the heavyweight title. IMO Fenech has helped inspire and motivate Mike to train like he did when he was twenty, lets hope all these things are true and that Tyson will be back in contension soon!

I certainly hope that this is true. I would love to see Tyson make a serious run at the top again!

I'm an old Tyson fan, but hearing this from his trainers before every fight gets old. I was very hopeful before the Williams fight, but I did not get the PPV because I thought it would be a cakewalk for Mike, well, I missed a hell of a fight, but would have been disappointed anyway.

Mike can't beat Vitali....but if he can beat McBride (hey, at this point you have to say 'if'), I would die for a Tyson-Wlad fight. That fight could go ANYWHERE...Tyson KO 1, Wlad TKO 4, Wlad UD, Tyson KO late (after being outboxed the whole fight), Wlad KO late, well just about anywhere but Tyson UD, since he just doesn't have the gas tank anymore.

So, I'm a sucker for Tyson comebacks and revitilization attempts, but he just cannot compete at the highest level anymore and I will not buy a Tyson PPV unless he can get a fight vs. Wlad or Toney or any HW champ. None of this Williams or McBride crap.

I like the fact that Fenech seems to be focusing on stamina, he says he teaching Tyson how to go 12 rounds again. Thats what Tyson needs, like Jack_the_rippuh said one time if Tyson could go 7 hard rounds no one could stop him. But thats a big if...

That is a big if, because 99% of Tyson fights don't last the distance and a good % of those don't last past the 5th round.I would be impressed if Tyson could go 10-12 rounds against some of the current contenders in the division, but then again we all want to see Mike KTFO all his oppenents!

it's a broken record. All of his "new" trainers promise the Tyson of old.

Do you expect Fenech to say...."You know, Mike is an old fighter. He's looking O.K., I guess. He can train his ass off, & will never be anywhere near what he was. But, we'll do our best to keep him from embarrassing himself." ????????????

Good one! This "Tyson is back" bs, has been going on for too long. Every goddamned time Tyson gets a new trainer, they tell us that he is training better now and that he will be champion again. Iīm sick and tired of it all. Tyson is so far over the hill, itīs embarrasing. He will never become champ again. Donīt get me wrong, I am a big fan of the Tyson of yesterday, but I am also convinced of the fact that nothing or nobody can bring him back to the top.
