    All Floyd Haters,

    Mayweather-Mosley does 1.8 million ppv buys, plus a 24/7 series
    Pacquiao-Clottey does less than 1 million ppv buys

      How did those do, as far as hype and buys or what not?? Boxing was pretty amped so thats a poor excuse.
      1.25 million for Pac/Cotto, it did that much because both fighters have HUGE fan bases.

      Hatton/Pac did around 800-900k, again...thanks to Hatton's following.

      Clottey has never had a big fan base, this fight will do less than a million in PPV.

      and please...American fighters get more press/hype than any other boxer, and it's a fact.

      Check: Mayweather/DLH.

        So what your saying is that Mosley vs. Mayweather is only hyped by fans because they are American? Is it not just simply a bigger and better fight then Pac-Clottey??

          I would've said who cares, but Arum tried playing this game by trying to rush and get a fight and make this huge fight call "The Event" in Cowboy stadium, in a attempt to try to show up GBP and Mayweather.

            figure it out which fight will get more hype.
            dont forget

            Clottey = Non-American
            Pacquiao = Non-American
            Jerry Jones = American Billionaire = very competitive in everything
            Dallas Cowboys = Americans
            Venue Arlington,Texas = Very very American
            put those in equation they are very much involve in the promotions of "The Event", i guess no less than 1M ppv's

              Joshua Clottey was the 3rd option for Arum. 1st was mayweather, then foreman.But pacquiao decided to duck those two and has ended up boxing clottey.

              LETS GO CLOTTEY

                  YOur right man. PAcquiao is not the best self promoter, thts the difference between mayweather and him. Mayweather is agreat promoter and he generates loads of ppv buys. At the dallas presscon today Pacquiao-CLottey talked for less than 3 minutes between them haha

                    This is reposted from my other thread:

                    If mosley/mayweather goes ahead remember it happened from an tragedy and was not planned. IF it goes ahead it will out PPV pacman/clot.

                    However, If pacman didnt sign clot immeadiatly after the failed talks dont you think he would of chased mosley as well??

                    In other threads people are posting how this is going to be a victory for mayweather like he actually planning this stuff happening. Its a series of unfortunate events that has work out well for flyod.

                    Im sure all boxing fans want to see this fight, even though some may say a few years too late.

                    If it does go ahead I would be super thrilled to see it and hope it lives up to its hype.
