Why limit it to 50 000 in the Cowboys stadium?

I don't think arlington texas can draw a lot of fans that are coming from different locations. Staples center, MGM grand and even yankee stadium are location in Major cities where there is a **** load of stuff to do. That brings more fans, because there is a lot to do during the days leading up to the fight. I mean honestly what can you do in Arlington area (from a tourist or visitors perspective)?
With that said, its better to have a smaller crowd pay more than to hope to get more money by having more people come. Also a lot of those areas around Dallas have a lot of people who are loaded (money wise). Since huge boxing event rarely happen in that area (most are in SA & Houston) a lot of those rich people in does Dallas suburban area will be paying top dollar to come watch this fight. Arum is capitalizing off of that big time, which is a very smart move.Comment

They chose this stadium because the fight wont do great numbers on PPV so they are going for a large live gate selling the fight in the area as an entertainment type thing , lots of non boxing fans go to something like this just for the occasion only thing is they wont pay much so big venues cheap seats is the way to go .Comment

I heard Jerry Jones, has promised Bob Arum that he would buy out the first 30,000 seats. So, that leaves 20,000 seats for the rest of the people.
I doubted that they would have trouble filling 50,000 seats with Clottey, but now we know how they're doing it.
Selling more than 50,000 seats with that in mind, its possible but not by much; specially when you have Clottey as one of the selling points.Comment
