    Could Pac-Mosley have been on?

Had Pacman not have signed, what are the chance Pac-Mosley woulda come off?

Mosely was pretty damn keen on fighting Manny, said he'd be willing to do a catch weight, would not stipulate over the top drug testing, he'd be the bigger man to more of a degree than with May, and would be beating the #1 p4p.

Just seems like things could have panned out differently had circumstances been different...discuss....

If he waited 10 days, yes. Too bad though. That would have been a war.

i doubt it. Pac aint risking a potential may fight by fighting mosley. Plus mosley being with gbp & all the animosity with the failed negotiations would have made it tough.

In my opinion, Pac vs Mosley > Pac vs any other fighter (yes, including May)

Exciting class fighters in an all-out, tactical slugfest

Imagine that in the Cowboy Stadium....

i think once everything fell apart, Arum already had his mind made up that the alternative was gonna be a Top Rank 'thing'

No way. You saw what GBP said about JMM wanting 50/50 for a Pac fight. That tells you right there they are saying that no one in GBP is getting a Pac fight before Floyd. They would never let Shane get that fight 1st, no matter how much bad blood it would cause within its own ranks. Floyd is the cash cow and they know it

The whole issue with drug testing probably would have made things tricky. Without that I think Mosely was still damn keen on Pac, I mean he seemed desperate awhile back.

Plus, imagine if May signed to fight someone before Pac, and it was Pac whom had the option to face Mosley with the Berto drop out.

If Mosley really pushed it, made a few sacrifices financially and stuff, I think a deal could have been ironed out.

No way. Clottey is still smarting from the Cotto decision that went against him. He also missed out on a fight with Shane. Arum needed to do something to appease Clottey. If the Floyd fight wasn't going to happen it made perfect sense for Arum to match 2 of his guys against each other. With Berto pulling out Shane was a possibility, but that requires Arum to share the wealth. It's all in the house if he did Pac-Clottey instead.

                  floyd, cash cow? lol

floyd - mosley won't surpass pac-cotto in sales. pac and cotto have big fan base, floyd only got 7 and shane, not so much.

I hope to see Pac-Mosley someday. Two greats! It's a pick 'em.

But Pac needs to get past Clottey first. Some people are dismissing Clottey, but he's a pretty good fighter, with an effective turtle-shell defense, a solid chin, and he's probably gonna be 10lbs. heavier than Pac on fight night!

This ain't an easy fight for Pac, believe me.
