HAHAHA....nice post. Clottey is a beast and is hated on because he is African and relatively unknown. I saw the Mayweather/Corrales fight and Floyd picked him apart..too bad Floyd does not fight like that anymore. Floyd isn't walking through Mosley anyway it's sliced IMO.

I don't know, I think Floyd fights the same way he did when he fought Corrales. Floyd always boxes, always stays in the pocket; he does a bit of everything. But he's gotten slower. Not to mention, is fighting bigger guys so isn't stopping people anymore. Roy Jones barely stopped anyone at LHW. He had a string of guys who he couldn't put away. We're spoiled because Pac has done it. But it's not the norm.

Some people have say "It's not that he got slower, Mayweather doesn't throw combinations anymore". My opinion is that, at 130-140...Mayweather was so much faster that he could let go a combination and not get hit in return. Well, I shouldn't say much faster but he was clearly faster. I also agree that Mayweather fights the same.

If clottey doesn't use his head and let's his hands go instead of just defense in his cacooon it could be a war.as soon as clottey throws, manny needs to counter quickly, cotto was doing it especially to win the I believe 10th round and PAC has more quickness So he should connect.I just hope clottey doesn't come in with that egg head he has, only way he has a chance to cut PAC over the eye..

man please,dont give cotto any cred for what he did in the clottey fight. he didn't even get back on track until after he body slammed clottey.

If the odds are 4 or 3 to 1 Clottey it is worth a punt. If he fights smart he can win this fight. By smart i mean his timing must be sharp from the early rds, he has to keep his lead foot on the outside of pacs lead foot and above all he must throw the str8 right every single time the opportunity presents itself then follow with the left. He cannot be too left hand dominant. When he slips a straight right or a left from Pac he should attack the liver.

We also know he is not above some questionable tactics. He should be smart in that regard also. If the refs on the blind side when they clinch...throw some shots to the hip and try to mess pacs leg up.

it would be more interesting than mosley pbf.both would run or mosley would try to catch pbf up but he will run over and over again.actually Clottey did answer back at any Cotto's punch..it was a cool fight.i expect a great fight by pac and clottey
