I see why GBP offered it to Alvarez. Hes a budding star and has loads of potential and a fight with Floyd gets Mexican buyers in on the fun and it exposes him to over 1,000,000 viewers. The young kid will get his shot one day.

Well the train has stopped here for mayweather.Currently no other opponent is open and rakes in more $$$$$ other then mosley.
The obvious is too make this happen.
Golden Boy ownes both fighter=in house $$$$= no other promo company to split with.

Its was offered because GBP wanted to entertain the kid while they try to sign his ass. What better way than to make him think he has a shot at P4P king Mayweather. It was a ploy on GBP part but it doesn't seem to have worked as word is that he is ready to sign with Top Rank.Last edited by p4p-champ; 01-19-2010, 03:58 PM.
