For sure, I thought Shane was done after that fight and was most certain Margarito would have ended him.

Thought you might enjoy this thread though.

They should merge the two threads to end this one!

This is just comical now. Look at all the haters flocking together to down play this fight when this is the fight people were dying to see before Pac's name was even mentioned as an opponent. Do any of you girls who's comparing the Marg fight to the Mayorga fight even realize the difference in the trainers? Or do you just conveniently leave that out?

Regardless it's a very good win and puts Floyd in the driver seat in the next negotiations with Pac! Get mad haters!!:****you:

Mosley is basically old and past his prime. No one can argue with that without looking foolish.

A trainer can help, but last time I checked none of them could take age off of a fighter.

A question for you that requires a simple answer- Is a fighter in his prime at nearly 40 years old, especially ones that fight in the lower weight classes?

How about this, is Cintron in his prime?? Is Cotto in his? Is Margarito in his prime? Is Nate Campbell in his prime? Is Mosley in his? The fact of the matter is, the one guy who we know is in his prime, Pacquiao, Mayweather tried to make a fight. Blame blood test if you want, but that is not a make or break request to me, Pacquiao ducked a got damn blood test, what kind of Sh-t is that???

a win against ssm is a good win no doubt, but not a great win. i mean regardless of anything he is still 38 yrs old, and well past prime. he looked good against marg, and not so great, but ok against mayorga. this is a good fight next to pac, but lets be real....if this was 5 yrs ago it would be far better.

Never said he was in his prime. But he is still dangerous, top of the division and the legitimate ww champ.
