i love shane mosley as a fighter and as a person and i love his ex wife too..shane got balls he would be mayweathers toughest fight so far..if he can beat mosley ..pacquiao would be a piece of cake even on roids.

of course he will, mosley's 38 for christ's sake. he lost to cotto years back when he was younger, and roids' or not pac wiped the floor with cotto. Pac was accused of fighting PBF's leftover, now PBF is fighting Cotto's leftover. Such is the boxing life.

I'm a Pac fan, (ooops, but also equally a PBF, Mosley Cotto etc fan) but i don't think the reason Pac did not take PBF's test is because is actually on 'roids but he just doesn't want the PBF fight in March. After he will lose the election, come September 2010, he'll be hungry as hell and will take any drug test in the universe just to fight PBF. I jst hope Pac won't be asking the same demands from PBF as he did in their failed March fight.

i think everyone is overhyping mosely. This is the guy who lost to cotto and barely beat mayorga recently. He looked great beating margarito AFTER they took plaster away from him and margarito is an ez target to hit. THIS IS DEFINETLY NOT THE SAME MOSELY IN THE EARLY 2000s.. but he is STILL dangerous for floyd cuz he does have skills to beat floyd. And Floyd should be credited if he does take this fight for once.

My only concern is that a 16 month layoff is not good for Shane going into this fight. I believe he needs to fight a tuneup first and then take on Mayweather in May..

I completely agree. mosley is a hall of fame fighter and still a tough fight but he is near the end of his career. all these people thinking he is the best at welter is a complete joke. MOSLEY SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY BELTS AT WELTER. WHEN MARGS GOT CAUGHT WITH PLASTER BEFORE THE FIGHT HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN STRIPPED OF THE TITLE AND THE FIGHT CALLED OFF. i'm not discrediting mosley's win but that should not have been for a title given the circumstances. mosley lost to cotto and didn't look great in the mayorga fight. floyd should easily outbox him. people forget that margarito cleaned out the welterweight division in a way that not even mosley,floyd or certainly pacroid didnt do,look at whom margarito has fought,and beat! certainley way more dangerous dudes than pac or floyd would ever dare to face, so that victory was no joke margarito is no joke.mosley is no joke. would those guys fight,cintron,williams,clottey,cotto,martinez? hell no they wouldnt theyd be afraid to lose.

i agree margs fought all the best in the division. his worst fight by FAR WAS THE MOSLEY ONE WHERE HE LOOKED LIKE HE HAD NO POWER AND HAD JUST BEEN BUSTED FOR PLASTER. Margs also lost a lot of rounds to cotto and had he not knocked him out prob would have lost on cards. Pac arguably didn't lose a round to cotto and completely outboxed him and finished him. and cotto outboxed mosley in a decisive win a couple of years ago. Pac is the best by quite a bit especially if he gets by clottey who would give all these very tough fights.

This fight actually makes more sense in my opinion. SSM is a true welter and we don't have to hear any cr@p about Floyd fighting smaller guys.
