First of all, let me say, I feel sorry for the situation Andre Berto is in. Losing a loved one is a horrible experience. My condolences to Andre, his family and everyone who has lost someone in Haiti.
Lets move on to the later part of the year, after the situation in Haiti has hopefully taken a turn for the better, after Manny has beaten Clottey and after Shane and Floyd have hopefully gotten it on.
Manny and Andre are very close in terms of height, size, speed & power. I think it would be a explosive unification Super Fight. The latter part of the year would give Berto time to recover from and mourn the loss of his loved ones, not that that will be easy to do, but life has to continue for him.
By then, hopefully we'll have a Mayweather vs Mosley winner who can go on to fight the winner of Pacquiao vs Berto. A Welterweight Unification tourney, if you will. Maybe it's too good to be true, but I think it's certainly within the scope of possibility. Just a thought. What do you all think?
