I'm still not convinced on the merits of choosing Dallas. I mean, how many people will actually fly to Dallas for the fight? I guess it could draw heavily on the locals but still, I felt Vegas would have been a more attractive destination.

The owner (Jones) is buying 30,000 tickets right of the bat. He wants the first boxing fight at this event a success. Add that to the fact that the venue is world class and the tickets are extremely cheap. The most expensive one is $700 while the cheapest is at $50.

Wow, a bunch of you are idiots or complete huggers. Pac V Clottey will not touch a million and I'd bet any of you on that. It's a PPV that will do around 700k. Mosley V Mayweather can touch 1.25 million. It's a fight that almost every hardcore fan wants to see and most casual fans know Mosley and seen him in a big bout versus Margarito. Most casual fans that have seen Clottey just watched him lose to Cotto. Some of you guys really need to check yourself if you think Pac/Clottey sells more than Mayweather/Mosley.
