If Floyd fights Shane Mosley arguably the best at WW, do you give him any more respect than you give him now? Does your opinion of him change at all???

Yeah I will respect him as much as I did when he was coming up.

Personally taking this fight will make me a fan again and winning it will probably put a Floyd photo in my av.

Basically every problem I have with the guy will go away if he fights Shane Mosley, a legit welter with fast hands, fast feet, punching power and world-class experience. I just want to see the dude test himself in his own weight class.

I don't know man. I was hoping that the Mosley vs Berto fight would determine if Mosley still has what it takes to win. Its been a year without fighting and you can't stay sharp if you don't fight for that long. If he fights Floyd, he will need to be very sharp in all areas. As of right now, we don't know what Mosley has left in him, which is why its so disappointing that the fight is off because Berto is not mentally and physically ready. ( Prays go out to him and his family ).
That fight between them would have showed if he still has something left, but for now we don't know.

Hopefully though this will be Mosley's last hurrah and the good Mosley shows up for fight night, not the one against Mayorga. Floyd should get some credit. It would have been better if he fought Mosley when he was still hot after Margarito beating instead of JMM, but I guess better late than never right.

Or was Margarito tailor-made for him...?

uh no. if he does sign the fight it was only due to Berto pulling out combined with not having an appealing big opponent to make a fight with.

You can't pretend that Mosley isn't 38 and will be coming off at least a 14 month layoff. But it still beats the **** out of having to watch Floyd fight Malignaggi or Campbell.

i agree, Shane isn't that fast anymore like that 1st DLH fight

that version of Shane would give Floyd hell IMO

Floyd would take this, but nothin's sure in boxing
