Mosley is an ACTUAL welterweight, and the welterweight champion at that.

Pacquiao is great but a fight with mayweather would be for a mythical pound for pound title and nothing else. Neither Mayweather nor Pacquiao is the champ in the division they would be fighting.

Mayweather-Mosley on the other hand, is for the definitive #1 spot in the welterweight division.

It may not be bigger, but it could be a better action fight, and its more meaningful

Pacquiao-Mosley or Pacquiao-Mayweather (1 vs 3, and the board would make the exception most likely) . Pacquiao has the number 1 spot in their rankings and honestly I wouldn't really argue it.
