There's no way he would be mentally ready to compete with someone on Mosley's level after a tragedy like that involving family. So now...Mr. Mayweather...what excuse can you possibly come up with now?Realistically, Floyd should have accepted the fight with Manny. He would have been the bigger fighter with the better chance of winning. With Mosley that all changes. He is now the smaller fighter and Mosley is just as fast and quick as him with a much bigger punch. This will be an electrifying fight with lots of action and skill on display. But unless Mosley just gets old in the fight, I don't see how Floyd can pull it off.Whatever the results, just make the fight happen, Floyd. If you turn down this fight, you will lose all credibility. Your career will fall off a cliff.Noone will take you serious as a professional prize fighter again. That p4p legacy will be destroyed as well as your place in history.
agree! he has no choice but to fight shane now.... we all knew he wanted pac but now that pac chickened out, he is left with pwill or mosley... thats it!

Well,Mosley vs Mayweather would be a P4P fight.

Pacquiao vs Clottey wouldn't since Clottey isn't P4P,but Clottey is an elite fighter in his own division.
And so you got a lil guy takin a bigger one wich is the interest.

I mean,Barkley wasn't Leonard by far,but when Duran beat him,it was great as when he beat Leonard because he was beatin such a big guy.
I still see Manny as a blown up lightweight since he could still make 140 easy and probably 135.

It was always in the cards for Floyd to fight Shane. Shane and Pacroid were definitely gonna happen. The man just came out of retirement and beat the so-called #2 guy then he tried to fight the so-called #1 now he's fighting the real #3-4 guy. Gotta give it up Floyd is on a mission.

I'm pretty sure Floyd is going to ask for similar drug testing that he request from Pac. He would look like an ass if he didn't. But I will say this, Shane is known to have cheated with PEDs before but I'll be you what I don't have that he's not going to pull a PacRoid on us and run at the request of random blood tests. Shane will agree to blood tests between rounds.

No he's not left with PWill because he is a middleweight with a 6' 2 feet height advantage and 82 inch reach advantage (longer than Vlad Klit) trying to fight small men..

PWill should be ashamed of himself.

If this holds true the likely date is May 1st. No way can Mosley train this long after peaking for the fight on the end of January. Mosley has been on idle for a very long time and might hurt him against such a defensive specialist like Floyd.

Can't wait for this fight to happen. Hope its on March 13th also so that Arum can have a heart attack when he sees how this backfired on him and he was better off making the mayweather fight. Add in a huge upset by Clottey and 2010 would have been a great year. A man can only dream though.

That actually makes it easier cause all Shane has to do is take a couple of weeks off then go back into training in February. This fight can definitely happen on March 13. Sorry Pacroid nuthuggers, LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
