Didn't realize he had family die so scratch the step aside money part, but what a strange sequence of events if Mayweather/Mosley happens now.

usually if a foe withdraws from a fight the other party would be really pissed off... think campbell against guzman...

but right now i think shane is pretty much excited...

      would PBF fight him though?

ur answer is as good as mine...

if this fight pushes through on 13 march, i think the pacquiao-clottey fight will get pummeled...

there was a poll on this particular topic,

the guys who voted were leaning more for berto not to step aside,

        here's the link:

Two seperate PPV cards involving the two biggest names in the sport on at the same time isn't good for anyone.

Sucks for Pac. Floyd gave him every opportunity to sign on the dotted line. Anybody that doesn't see this as a clear duck by Pacquiao now is delusional.

If Mayweather does fight Mosley the Pac card will have to be moved. No way does HBO not back Mayweather V Mosley. May V Mosley can do over a million while Pac/Clottey is probably around 400-500,000 buys.

Berto's pull out from this fight seems like a blessing in disguise..

Are you guys insane? No way this fight happeneds on March 13th. What kind of sense would that make? Either put it on May 1st or bump the Hopkins fight to May 1st and let Floyd-Mosley take the April date. I just dont think it makes any sense at all to lose money fighting at the same time as Pac. Thats why I think there was talk of a guy lke Alvarez. This is a super fight. There is the 3 headed monster of Floyd, Pac, and Mosley. Mosley isnt quite on that level but he's the next best thing in terms of super fight so why cut all that money by doing it the same day and doing it so soon? I cant see it. Go April or May 1st

I wanted Berto to prove that Mosley hasn't grown old.

This is sad news for me.

                      Mosley-Mayweather not as interesting anymore.
