I think he wants to stick it to Pac. If he fights Shane hardly anyone will be buying Pac/Clottey. Most casual fans and even most hardcore fans want to see May V Mosley. Manny may have to move his PPV date if Mayweather fights Mosley.

He isn't moving his date because he is running for mayor with his 3rd grade education in May.
Berto's pull out from the Mosley fight changes the dynamic entirely. The prospect of a Mosley-Mayweather fight trumps anything that Pacquaio can do right now IMO...
IF floyd fights Shane in March, I'll definetely tip my hat for him. It's still a big if though isn't it?
