Golden boy can't do anything about it because tuto savala is the one who promotes Alvarez in the USA, and he is in talks with Bob Arum, as Arum wants the kid in the co main event of Pacquiao-Clottey and it seems that canelo will fight for top rank, Rafael Mendoza recently quit his job as canelo's manager, and he is linked to golden boy. so go figure what is next?

Arum will never match Canelo vs Floyd. Nor i think golden boy will do it, they also will try to develope canelo into a future star.

Looks like Golden Boy missed their shot. Canelo is going to be one hell of a fighter down the road, hopefully, Bob Arum will take care of him.

Yeah man, that is probably true acording to Canelo's camp, but to tell you the truth Golden Boy treats his fighters excellent, i've been close to golden boy promotions for some time now and they are a pretty good company, they take care of everyone including the media.... Top Rank is good too specially Ricardo Jimenez... but anyway been close to both, if i were an experienced profesional fighter i would go to Golden Boy and if i was a young up and comer fighter i would go with top rank, you know what i mean?

Well Rafael said that the reason is because fame got to Canelo a bit, that he doesn't listen to him anymore, so that he rather quit because he doesn't want any blame on him if something goes wrong.. i spoke to Saul the other day and he seems as humble as always, but i think it has to do more with promotional things..

But the truth is that Canelo is a celebrity now, he is always on tv and stuff, his new girlfriend was miss mexico (by the way she is hot, google her as ''Marisol Gonzalez chica td'').
