I agree with you, I have been quite surprised with the lack of professionalism shown by the parties involved. I suspect certain fighters of using but I keep my views to myself. They could of handled this whole situation very differently. How on earth do you mess up a fight that's worth at least 100m?

They (the family) would have got more respect from me if they just flat out said that they didn't want Floyd to face Pacquiao. The last 6 weeks have been bull**** and deprived boxing of aguably its best fight for a generation. I feel robbed.Comment

FLOYD MAYWEATHER SR.: "I DID WHAT ANY FATHER WOULD DO"
"That man was about to fight my son. What am I supposed to do? I did what any father would do," stated world-class trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr., who revealed he has no regrets insisting that his son request more stringent testing prior to the proposed bout with Manny Pacquiao. Although the fight is completely off now and both sides have moved on, there's still the matter of the defamation lawsuit that Pacquiao has filed. Typically vocal, Mayweather Sr. had little to say on the subject, but comment, "At the end of the day, they can't change my mind; just like I can't change their mind. I can't change their mind on what they think about me and they can't change my mind on what I think about them." As for Mayweather Jr., although he claims to be moving forward with a fight on March 13th, it's looking more and more doubtful as an opponent has yet to be named. In fact, Mayweather Sr. hasn't even seen his son. "I haven't seen Lil Floyd. He's taking it easy right now I guess," he added. "But they can go ahead and fight Clottey and I'm sure Lil' Floyd will move on as well.Comment

*******s or not you have to admit Floyd is ducking Pac. He turned down $40 mil. pay day for De La Hoya II after he dismantled a smaller Stevie Forbes. He was so scared to fight De La Hoya II even with money troubles, he retired. After Pac destroyed De La Hoya, Hatton and Cotto, he is turning away from a potential $30 million pay day. That is $70 million he has left on the table for just those two fights. Floyd is so scared of losing that zero in loss column that he is not living up to his moniker "Money". Add to the fact that he loves to make it rain in the strip clubs.Comment
