Doug Fischer thinks the Martirosyan/Ouma was a robbery. Do you agree?

I had it a draw. Close fight any way you slice it.
I would agree until I saw that all three judges had a wide victory for vanes.

We need to think up something.
I always thought it would be kinda cool to have a sort of overseeing scoring presence in boxing. Like an official scoring committee that only deals with scoring fights with no allegiance to any commissions.

Boxing could keep things how it is now, judges score the fights, the results get announced at the end of the fight, and if there's a controversy one side could file a petition with the scoring committee for the fight to be reviewed. Depending on if the fight is deemed "reviewable" or not the fight would get scored based on a set of official uniform rules by the committee and the original result would either be approved or overturned.

Didnt see the fight but i notice one thing about boxing in general, Its easy to rob african fighters unless they're world famous like Azumah Nelson, Most of them have to probably KO their opponent to get a win, Funeka was been given a hard time (scoring), Clottey has been involve in controversial decisions as well.

Most of them dont have any leverage or name so its easier for the judges..

When you go life and death with this version of Ouma you're not gonna amount to anything regardless. That doesn't make off base scores right. But neither one of these guys have any kind of future.

The judges were trippin' a bit. But at the same time it was the kind of fight that seemed to lend itself to weird judging.

Ouma was landing a lot of neat counters and little combos, but Vanes seemed to be landing the harder shots.

The fact that Ouma dropped him in the 9th and the scores were still that wide showed the judges were off.

And the more reason Top rank are moving Vanes along slowly, He along with chavez jnr need a lot of work before they stepped it up, Good luck to them.

I disagree mate. Ouma looked vintage last night. He gave a great performance. He's always been a tough fight for anyone, I think you're short selling Vanes here.

I agree Ouma was fighting like the old Ouma we knew and loved last night.

In his prime he threw a ****load of punches and didn't care when he got buzzed. He just kept coming wearing guys down.

I saw some of that last night and was happy.

What was with the 10 rounds instead of 12?

If it did go to 12, I think Ouma was in store for quite a brutal 11th round TKO.

Either way, I had it a draw because I gave Vanes the 9-10 in the knockdown round.

I had ouma winning by 1 point because of the 10-8 knockdown round, vanes might have won that round though, so a 9-9 might be warranted - meaning a draw.

Those judges had vanes winning a f'uckin landslide victory, -- complete bull ****.

... last time i ***EVER*** saw scores that bad was james toney vs sam peter (1st fight) ... they had peter winning 116-111 .... james toney clearly, clearly won that fight.

                      ... another horrible fight scoring

.... seroiusly, they need to have 10 ****in judges scoring every fight, that way it would kept honest, 3 judges can be bought, 10 judges can't.

                      ****
