    Even if Floyd beat the same fighters Manny did, he wouldn't be acknowledged the same

    Because of style. If Floyd went in against Cotto, Barrera, Morales, and others that Manny faced in his career and beat them, people wouldn't be as impressed. Floyd's defense first style would still make people think, ok he's great defensive and won his fights that way, but the difference where Manny goes in looking to destroy his opponents leaves more of an impression. Floyd's style+personality will be harsh on him in history. Pacquiao's fan friendly style and persona only benefits him in time.

      Now that's just not true,all ur doing with this tread is giving floyd lovers fuel for a fire!!They are no gonna say,that no matter what floyd does,he isn't gonna get credit,which is bull****,but u just gave them good amo,way to go!!

          Yes, both in better fashion and the way Floyd should have beat them. Both fought an out of his prime Oscar. Floyd barely gets by him, Pacquiao stops him. Both fought Ricky Hatton. Floyd fought him out of his weight division, making Hatton come up to 147lbs where he was never effective and it took him 8rds to stop him.             Floyd has faced alot more styles than manny has .with all the fighters that manny has fought , many have the same style
