I know Schafer shut it down... But, why would he announce this on U.K television? Is it out of the realm of possibility that Floyd might fight Hatton next?

Very realistic against a average boxer. As much as I want him to fight Pwill, Cotto, Martinez I would be happy with Cintron, Collazo, Quintana, Bradley, and the reality might be Paulie Mallinaggi or Mathew Hatton.

I would rather see him fight on March 13 than be inactive untill June.

Hatton has been talking about Urango and such. I think if that fight had any chance of being made, Hatton would have at least mentioned Floyd's name one way or another in the dozens of interviews he's done in the past couple of weeks.

I would agree fight a quality opponent in March, Fight Mosley/Berto winner in June and a Pac mega fight in November. That would help his legacy and make his fans and haters happy.
