    The Khan/Warren thing is hilarious.

As I've commented before on this site, Warren very soon in his newspaper column will be slagging off Khan, expect things like "chinny" to be mentioned by Mr.Warren. He must be extremely bitter right now, remember the kind of stuff he has said about Hatton and Calzaghe once they left him. This is gonna be pretty funny.

Is it viable for Warren to promote a fighter that wants to live in America?

Its true, Warren will be saying he wont get anywhere with GBP and all that stuff, saying hes chinny and trying to claim that he has ruined his career by leaving him.

Calzaghe was with Warren for years and he now gets **** for not having as many names on his resume than he potentially could have, it was Warren slowing him down IMO, that is why when him and Hatton left him they went onto bigger things, only thing was by the time Calzaghe left him he was 36 and didn't have long left anyway.

At least Khan can say he wont be a victim of that, though he does still need to improve in various areas as a fighter, and DiBella is right about him having to build his US reputation, they will not just look at him as if he is an American... it will be the British that will come support him through his career so he shouldn't turn his back on them.

Warren has built up publicity around Khan that he is the real deal which he is not but has had him fighting bums and the poorest quality opposition he could get away with. Khan is really a very talented, chinny on the fragile side media darling after his great Olympics.Personally I am really pleased that Khan has left Warren. I was getting sick of the hype and bull**** around him and talk about taking on great fighters when he was fighting the Oisin ***ans and Salitas of the world. I was looking forward to seeing him in his first real fight Maidana who he was well capable of beating. If you are going to talk the talk walk the walk. Hopefully under
Golden Boy we might see him in a fight something Warren never had in mind for him.
Personally I don't think Khan has it to fight at the highest levelbut he has talked about it enough and it is high time he stepped up to the plate and backed up the statements and fought someone. I am pleased he has signed with Golden Boy but disapointed his first move was to avoid Maidana. The Golden Boy move means that it is almost certain Khan and Fat Boy Hatton are looking to have a nice pay day fight.

Khan needs to stop being a ***** and fight Maidana otherwise he will have to give up the WBA belt which is the only thing that actually makes him look official
instead he wants to fight a guy with no knock out power like Malignaggi and try and make a name for himself problem is Di Bella knows how Malignaggi is often used to pad out other rising stars resume and thinks Khan ain't big enough outside the UK to warrant fighting him. Di Bella knows what they are up to

i think Khan is better off without Warren anyway. At least with Golden Boy he can get some good exposure in the US and hopefully become a feature fighter on HBO because if it was up to Warren he would keep Amir over here fighting bums till he's thirty or something the chances of Khan ever being in a competative fight are basically none existent

let's hope Khan does the right thing and actually takes on some fighters that could give him problems. if he wants to be a star over there he has to fight and beat the best

That is what it is about. Hatton won't do business with warren and warren was hoping to be Khan's UK promoter. Hatton is tied up with GBP so it is possible he has Hatton in mind to promote Amir Khan in the UK .
