First of all I gave the nod to ouma by 95-94 with the kd being the difference. However, a lot of the rounds were real close and could have went either way depending on what you were scoring for. Anytime its that close it could go either way, without being a robbery. That being said the Real Problem was how wide those scorecards were.
The real problem with the Vanes-Ouma Fight

I have no issue with the decision, just the scorecards. I watched a really close fight and would not argue had it went either way. The scorecards were atrocious though.First of all I gave the nod to ouma by 95-94 with the kd being the difference. I actually had Vanes winning by 1 point. I almost gave Ouma the last round but gave it to Vanes with his late rally. -

That's the issue in my opinion. It's not that it was a close or that the very large majority gave it to Ouma, it's that it was never going to be scored any other way. Ouma could not have won that fight no matter what he did unless he knocked Vanes out.
The judges had been told to give it to Vanes no matter what happened.Comment
