Jose Benavides' pro debut!

One of the greatest looking prospects to come about in quite a while will be fighting soon.

Jose Benavides was a tremendous amateur and at JWW or whatever and standing six feet tall has a huge advantage and only 17 years of age turning pro!

His skill is very good too. Great boxer with a lot of mature fighting skill and experienced tactics.

Really looking forward to this. He is a fighting a 2-0 Steven Cox whom I know nothing about.

Well, there you go. First round KO of course. Great left hand to put Cox down though couldn't get another knock down shot but Ref stepped in to stop it.

The dude he was fighting was a joke. I could have been competitive with that dude.

He showed his quickness though. Could have more power then his body shows too.

cox wasnt much of an opponent but jose certainly has great physical attributes and a great coach to go far

Yep, good debut. Even though the guy was never going to win Benavides looked very solid.

Can't believe he's only 17! Hopefully, he keeps his head on him.
