Vanes vs Ouma Card On Now Discussion Thread

Correct most of his shots landed on the gloves. He also landed some good shots as did Ouma. I watched the fight on TV also.

The problem with Ouma was he disappeared for large portions of rounds. If Ouma landed 2 decent punches and Vanes landed 20 OK shots with 60 shots being blocked I have the round to Vanes. You can't be that lazy and win rounds.

without the kd th fight could have gone either way and i would not say anything, but with the kd you have to give ouma the nod.

ouma won on my card but you cant say either guy won that easy it was pretty ***in close and could have went either way.

Compubox doesn't tell the whole story it was a close fight that could have gone either way depending on how you saw certain close rounds.......**** scores

I had Martirosyan winning 6 rounds to 4, so he won by 1 point with the KD on my card. I could see Ouma getting winning by 3 points easily too (6 to 4), but anything more than that either way I think is pushing it...

i dont think it was freddie's fault. we didnt get to hear what was said in the corner, but from what was relayed by the commentators, he told vanes to circle to his left to set up the right and quit running. he also told him to throw more one two's.

vanes kept circling to his right, he kept running and he didnt unleash one two's til late in the fight.
vanes just isnt that good. dude runs like a boxer but he's not a boxer. he shouldve been fighting like a boxer/puncher all along. his running and unnecessary footwork was annoying.

there couldnt have been two different ring demeanors. ouma's cool and relaxed while vanes fights like a spazz. you cant think in the ring and apply your trainer's directions/strategy when you fight like a spazz.
