How is any top 140 fighter fighting Paulie Mallinaggi, a fighter who split fights with soft punching Juan Diaz, a 135 fighter? It makes no sense how much respect he gets. He is absolute garbage, even a terribly shot and ****ty Ricky Hatton beat his ass down.Comment

This is what I hate about modern day boxing-it's is becoming filled with prissy fighters who want to get large pay-days,but not face challenges that they view may "threaten" their respective careers. The more Khan runs from someone like Maidana, the more questions he is going to have.People like Jermain Taylor may not have done well against big punchers, but at least he had the heart to go against them....No wonder Khan wants Malignaggi-he only has stopped 5 people in his career! As good of skills that Paulie has,he will always be a fighter that people can walk through because they don't respect his feather-duster like punches...According to a report in England, WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan has made a final decision to leave promoter Frank Warren and plans to jump-start his career in America. The Daily Star reports that Khan is planning to hook up with Golden Boy Promotions, who worked in the past with other UK fighters like Joe Calzaghe and currently work with Ricky Hatton. If everything goes as planned, Khan could make his U.S. debut against Paulie Malignaggi on May 1 in Madison Square Garden. The date may not be likely since Golden Boy has the MGM Grand reserved for the same date for the return of Juan Manuel Marquez. [Click Here To Read More]Comment
