First off, Brian Kenny is NOT Pro-Mayweather. The only reason he "sided" with Floyd was because he painted himself in a corner with his opinion on the Mark Mcgwire situation. Brian said about steroids in Baseball:

"Why dont the clean players stand up and ask for more testing"

Shortly after that statement, a boxing fan emailed him and called him out on his double standards for boxing and baseball, and BK was forced to reluctantly side with Floyd.

Its not about favoritism here, its about intellectual honesty. When a guy refuses 40 million dollars over blood tests in the STEROID ERA, its going to raise some eyebrows. ESPN is just doing its job.
      well said

i guess some people have forgetton brian kenny criticism of floyds not fighting the best. which of course bk was right on that

bottom line floyd will be continue to be dislike and pac will continued to be loved (especially since he is fighting clottey that takes balls)

but there is no logical explanation why you pass up on 40 million dollars because of random blood test especially when you are clean.

        True.

ESPN hates Lakers and is Pro-LeBron.

Pac gets a lot of love from the US media.

Pac fans have posted hundreds of articles/videos ****ting on Floyd (most of them were from the Philippines). Some of the American media decide to call it how they see it and that makes them automatically biased? GTFO and stop crying like bitches.

Because ESPN is a reporting company that tells it like it is, rather then choosing sides. It's bad buiseness and reporting to choose a side.

                  ESPN
ESPNIt’s become clear to me that ESPN has become absolutely Pro-Mayweather. Between their commercials, interviews, and comments ESPN has practically led the Floyd Mayweather Jr “Fan club” during the fallout from the failed “PacWeather” fight. Let’s examine some of the comments and actions taken by ESPN and their employees over the last few weeks.

We start with the most unethical journalistic comments made by ESPN. Boxing analyst Teddy Atlas claiming that an unnamed source told him that Pacquiao’s camp sent an email to the Mayweather camp asking if a failed drug test could be kept dirty. With no proof, Atlas goes on TV and makes these claims. PacMan’s camp fight back and demand proof but Atlas doesn’t provide any. Instead, Atlas goes on ESPN’s Friday Night Fights, last night, and makes the following comments:

“So, if he wants the fight to happen, all he had to do, and I think the common man on the street, and those are the people I care about, the common guy on the street, the fight fan, they’re going to have a difficult time understanding why somebody who could make that kind of money and make that kind of historic fight would not just take a test if there was nothing to hide."
But Atlas wasn’t the only one blaming Pacquiao. Guest host of last night’s Friday Night Fights was cruiserweight fighter BJ Flores and he had the following to say about Pacquiao:

“I’m gonna blame Manny Pacquiao and the reason I’m gonna say that is because this was the biggest fight in boxing. Everybody wanted to see Floyd Mayweather versus Manny Pacquiao. You know, Floyd wanted to make sure that he was coming in on even playing field, that Manny was doing the same thing that Floyd was doing.”
And last but not least, Brian “I’m Floyd's Best Friend Forever” Kenny had this to say:

“It’s a shame it didn’t happen, but I actually have to back Floyd Mayweather on this."
What a surprise, all 3 hosts of the show blame Manny Pacquiao. Brian Kenny has backed Floyd for years now. Kenny and Floyd are BFFs and it’s clear every time they do interviews together. I don’t see ESPN making commercials with Brian Kenny and Pacquiao. But I have seen commercials with Kenny and Floyd.

This entire boxing coverage by ESPN on the “PacWeather” events has been so one-sided that it makes me sick. How about ESPN get a few Pro-Pacquiao analysts on there so we can have a fair and balanced coverage?

If it wasn’t clear before, it should be clear now. ESPN is PRO-Mayweather and ANTI-Pacquiao

They are blaming PAC because itīs PACīs FAULT!....LOL

I like ESPN and I'm also a Pacquiao fan. Everyone has an opinion on this subject and they have that right.

My only issue is with the people who started the rumors. With the tide in the court of Public Opinion, Manny will eventually have to try to prove his innocence. That will prove to be an impossible task. You cannot prove innocence with this type of accusation, you can only slightly prove innocence at a specific point in time. That is why I like the idea of certain individuals getting their asses sued. They need to pay for knocking down ones character simply based on a wild hunch.

I have no issue at all with those in here who feel Manny should be tested. They are simply reacting to the accusations just like everyone else. What bothers me is that some of them will never feel satisfied even if Manny does do the tests. There is no way manny can prove himself. he will always have some out there questioning his ethics now. that is why I want to see Floyd Sr. taken for everything he has.

The court of public opinion can be vicious and unrelenting. Everyone should show some IQ before they try to publicly defile someone without proof. Humans are idiots by nature though. I have also seen both sides behave ridiculously in here. Everyone should keep a cool head.

That's what I say, this **** is getting dumb and ******. If you hate Mayweather, let it go, ignore him. It's alot more to talk about other than FLOYD HATE THREADS and MANNY LOVE THREADS. It's a boxing forum.

Manny has been praised in the media all over the world, he and his team doing interviewS and etc. Do you see any *****s or whatever you call them, making hate thread about Manny?...NO!
