Ricky Hatton at his best was a club fighter. He is a joke to ever been considered the class of 140.

        No.
He was a good fighter. He became much more of a smothering pressure fighter later on when he became champion, but in the early part of his career he showed skill, accuracy, speed, great balance and technique.

When u call a world champion a club fighter u disrespect the sport. He did well enough to fight to arguably ATG's in Floyd and Pac.
Club fighters dont make it that far.

        Hatton should retire.

Hes been world champion. He fought to of the best. IMO he is risking his health.

Ultimately, he's been there, and done that, and the risk just isnt worth it.

IMO he has more to lose than to gain.

              Fair comments.

imo he should fight Urango, and if he wins, sign off against Marquez.

what's more likely to happen is he'll sneak past Urango and move up to 147 to fight Mayweather and get stopped again.

              sad but true

Hatton is done, he is a shadow of his former self, all those pies and pints killed his body.

Hatton was always over-rated, maybe the most over-rated fighter of our generation. I can't think of any top 140s he can beat.

Before and after he mugged Kostya he really didnt fight any top 140's. I give him props for beating Collazo and Urango, but outside of that his resume is pretty limited.

His best option is to fight Katsidis IMO. Hes smaller and hes willing to brawl. He really should just retire though. After seeing him with Ali and hearing about his heart problems this guys health is terrible. Dropping as much weight as he does takes a major toll on your body and his style demands a peek shaped athlete.
