Who is faster prime Chris Byrd or David Haye?

I am not sure, I mean I could go watch a few vids back to back but I don't feel like it right now.

I am asking this because If Haye is indeed faster than the best version of Byrd, I guess Haye would be the quickest HW that Ruiz, Wlad, or Vitali will have ever fought.

This presuming Haye gets past Ruiz and actually fight one or either of the brothers.

    Poll cumming.

Byrd has head movement and foot movement that puts Haye to shame.

Haye may have near the handspeed but he doesn't have the fundamental skills to apply his speed the way that Byrd did.

If Chris Byrd had fought Valuev he certainly would not have had to resort to the pitiful run all night tactic of Haye despite being the same size. He would have just countered Valuev all night long instead of ducking and sprinting.

Byrd would probably have thrown 500 punches minimum against Valuev, Haye threw 144. So if you are throwing 12 punches per round it's safe to say that if you do have handspeed you are making it irrelevent.

The Chris Byrd who beat Vitali in 2000 was no where near as fast as Haye in any way shape of form. What a dumb thread!

Byrd was quick but he didnt have anything behind his punches, he was a good defensive fighter though.

Prime Byrd would dismantle Haye and maybe ko him,but to be fair i watched Byrds whole career and was a big fan of his for a long time.

He would have got knocked out or hurt very badly if he was ****** enough to try tactics like those against valuev! being so much smaller, how do u counter someone who has arms that are much longer than your own? thats the reason mayweather dont want to fight P Williams durrrrr.
