Was Mayweather in a win-win situation with Pacquiao's final terms?

Don't you think Floyd was in a win-win situation if he accepted Pacquiao's final terms?

If Floyd lost he has an excuse (Pacquiao was probably on roids) and he could push for a possible rematch and another big payday (that is if the fight is close). If Mayweather wins, he also gets to **** on Pacquiao; he beat him in his own terms.

In contrast, Pacquiao I think wasn't in a position to say "yes" on Floyd's terms. If Pacquiao wins, he had a 14-day window, if Pacquiao lost, he probably was deterred from using PEDs because of the testing.

    What do you think?

Yes, why he said no to a 40mil payday is beyond me.

No. If Floyd lost he doesn't have a legacy, being undefeated is all he's got.

Yes, but his advisers were stupid.

The Mayweather camp made the idiotic mistake of smearing their cash cow. Floyd has debts, Roger has to pay off his plaintiff, Joy has no icon to train. Yet Pacquiao, who isn`t even used to having so much money he had until recently, doesn`t really need this fight.

    Floyd Sr. and family loses.

Pacquiao is still happy with his singing, movies, etc...

Pacquiao will win in Court, or at least surely cut obligations with GBP.

Pac vs. PBF= Pacquiao wins by a landslide, PBF missed the train.

If Floyd hadn't asked for the tests in the first place, he'd be rolling in dough.

I don't get why he'd want to hurt his potential cash cow.

I can tell you that Floyd is a GENIUS.... at ducking a fight.

If it makes money it makes sense right? Apparently not anymore.

No. If Manny wanted the fight, he would have accepted the tests with a 14 day window.
Manny didnt want the fight, and fought Clottey instead.

Floyd never wanted the fight in the first place anyway. After he saw Pacquiao man handle Cotto, he had other plan. All he was doing is he's just trying to destroy Pacquiao image. He did a pretty good job too because it mades Pacquiao look pretty bad. Nonetheless Pacquiao will settle it in court.

How is this a win-win situation for Pacquiao?

Like I said, Pacquiao I think wasn't in a position to say "yes" on Floyd's terms. If Pacquiao wins, he had a 14-day window, if Pacquiao lost, he probably was deterred from using PEDs because of the testing.

Taking the fight was Mayweather's to decide on.

imagine if Floyd just went thru the agreement the way he does in his previous fights, he could've just outbox Pac & win by UD

i don't know what's running thru his mind

                    Two questions for you:

Did Manny have to take the test at all?

Would Floyd have fought him anyway if Manny just flat out said no to the tests?

The fact that Floyd even asked for these tests shows he was reluctant to fight Pac.

The fact that Pac even entertained the fact of doing Floyd's test and tried to negotiate with him shows he wanted to fight.
