Of course my list will differ from everyone elses. In the sense that we are talking about RISK and not actual performance.
1. Joppy-- His first fight moving up in weight against one of the slickest fighters at that time. A good solid pro who beat some game opponents including JC green....and yes I know. He did beat a washed up Duran, but showed his skill in the process. I thought he was going to admninster Tito his first loss as a professional.
2. Hopkins-- Reigning middleweight champion, who of course was underrated in his boxing ability at the time.
3. Oba Carr-- One of the better pure boxers in the sport at the time they fought, and I figured it would be a dangerous fight for Trinidad
4. Reid-- I thought there was no way in hell he was going to beat David before the fight. I guess I was wrong about that.
5. DLH-- Both of them were well established, and that is why it was considered the "fight of the Millenium".

Most of Trinidads fights were, and still are dangerous, since starting at 140, to 160.
1. Oscar De La Hoya - "fight of the Millenium", for a reason, both young raising stars, who both make top all time lists.
Hector Camacho 44-2-0 at time, had only lost three years ago to Julio Cesar Chavez.
Luis Ramon Campas 56-0-0
Pernell Whitaker 40-2-1
Bernard Hopkins 39-2-1
Runner ups - William Joppy, Fernando Vargas, Ricardo Mayorga
