Do you think Hatton can beat Marquez at 140?

I think Marquez would be a slight favorite, but if Hatton is in good shape and motivated, then it becomes more or less a pick em.

    whats your pick and why?

      hell yeah he can.

if juan freaking diaz can bully jmm around so can hatton.

plus even though hatton will get countered a lot , jmm doesn't have the pop to ko him. he can hurt him but not enough to stop ricky from mauling him.

He has a better chance than most think.

Diaz at 135 was able to cause Marquez some trouble with his pressure, speed and power.

Hatton is naturally bigger, similar handspeed wise, applies pressure and has better power than Juan Diaz so he should cause Marquez some problems.

Hattons downfall in his chin though, it seems to be getting worse and i think even Marquez at 140 can take advantage especially with his counter punching ability.

Both guys should consider retirement soon, both are on the decline.

Hatton has been underrated since Pac crushed him. I think he can beat Marquez if he is still what he was pre Pac.

it depends on hattons punch resistance and also jmm is not the same fighter at 140 that he was at lw this is a pick em fight that could go both ways

I think it'll be a tough fight for both and, at the same time, a winnable fight for both.

Good point but i think even Marquez at 140 pounds can take advantage of Hatton's declining chin with his counter punching.

I can see either guy winning, but it depends on a few things, Hatton's chin is on the decline, but @ 140, can JMM seriously hurt him?

If Hatton gets back to old from and starts pummelling Marquez body on the ropes, can he handle that?

Will Marquez be "rag-dolled" in the clinches by Hatton?

too many questions, but i'm picking Ricky to prevail in a war, IF he looks normal in training
