On another seperate tweet, Paulie said he hopes to get Mayweather in March...apparently he thinks there is still time...

Khan - Malignaggi is interesting.

I have no interest in Mayweather - Malignaggi. I don't wanna see Mayweather against 140 pounders.

Well, I think that this would be a decent match-up for both fighters, and personally a bout that I would like to see. Each fighter has certain advantages, and it would make for an interesting fight. One thing that is overlooked is that Paulie has the ability to take a LOT of punishment, and with Khan probably going for the KO, I don't thin he'd get it. Also, Malignaggi is a very slippery, elusive fighter. Not quite to the same degree as fighters such as Hamed, but he also has much better balance. As far as footwork is concerned, Paulie has improved quite a bit, and Khan's not too bad either. The question of the night would lie in Khan's chin. See, Paulie actually hurt Diaz quite a bit, and may have been able to get a KD if hadn't have been clowning around. I believe Diaz is a little more solid up top than Khan, so the possiblity that Paulie might actually have a chance at knocking Khan down would make this fight even more interesting (although unlikely imo). We all know that Khan's moneymaker is his power, and if he utilises that early on to take some of the steam out of Malignaggi, the evening could go well for him. That coupled with Khan's handspeed (though a tad slower than Paulie) gives Khan the possibility of overwhelming Paulie and maybe compelling the referee to stop the fight.

Khan has speed and power edge

Paulie has overall skills and experiance.

it's an even fight, but i just think Paulies lack of power will screw him over, he won't be able to keep Khan off with anything.
