i agree luevano is no pushover , juanma cant overlook the fight just to see ahead into the future. just cant see luevano style overcoming the power.i hope juanma doesnt fall into the pressure of wanting to impress and go for the ko rite away since gamboa fights rite before him just to send a mesg. late round ko, say in 9.

the only delusional guy on this site is you if you think that reckless chinny hype job will be able to stand up to juanmas punches he has a point a guy like rocky juarez who will take juanma punches and not stop coming all night has a better chance then gamboa who rushes in and gets caught on a regular basis that might work against whyber garcia but against juanma gamboa will wake up in the hospital

Steve Luevano has 5 KO's in the past 6 years....Highly unlikely JuanMa loses this one.

            I got JuanMa Lopez
            Any takers for 100K

Luevano needs a KO to win and he aint got the power. This fight is a yawner for that reason.

Juanma has a lot to prove in this fight. I will root for him and can see a mid-late KO. Wish the best for him and for Gamboa also. This are 2 very young and great fighters, great to see great prospects and the promoters giving them good exposure and creating the hype for great pay days ahead.

Also on a side note I find very classy that Cotto will be there to. It must feel great for Juanma to have Tito and Cotto supporting you.

I think Rafael Marquez would stand a better chance of beating Juan Ma than Luevano does even though Rafa is shot just for the simple fact he can punch. I thought I heard Rafa Marquez say that he was interested in fighting Juan Ma later this year in that story of where they mentioned him dumping Nacho. Here is your dream fight Juan Ma. You better take it. Or did you lose your confidence when Mtwaga gave you the biz in those last two rounds?

This is why Juan Ma needs to follow through with Arum's plan for a Gamboa match up so that fight will be on the table if Rafa beats Izzy which I think will happen. Juan Ma will look like Floyd if he doesn't take the Gamboa fight and here's why. They are simply from the same promotional firm like Floyd and Shane are. But to Juan Ma's credit, it looks like he's gonna follow through with his plans to fight Gamboa. But he said the same thing about Caballero last year and punked out.
