Regulatory bodies like nsac are not serious in stopping illegal substance use
If Kizer really mean what he says, that the purpose of drug testing is to deter people from using it, then he should consider increasing the penalty of suspension to at least three (3) years. It will have an effect of retiring the culprit and would discourage future users. If Margarito can fight and become champion again, what example does it show future users? They can use illegal substances to gain undue advantage over their opponents, and if caught, which is a high improbability anyway, they can just rest for a while and become champions again in due time. That's why the present system does not deter athletes from using these illegal substances. Would you blame me if I think that the reason why Mayweather has no loss yet is because he is using it? He is a member of a family who are convicted pushers and users.Comment

HgH while detectable only in blood, does not have a scientifically validated testing method that is commercially available. Any positive finding can be questioned and will not stand in the court of law...unless you can give me a link that says otherwise.Last edited by badboypeenoy; 01-16-2010, 12:09 AM.Comment

kizer is short of saying that a scared fighter will not run out of excuses. now a fighter asked olympic-style doping test. next he will ask winter-games style doping test.
you simply cannot expect a scared man to fight against the greatest fighter of this planet.Comment

"The current test is reliable...The test was introduced at the Athens Olympic Games in 2004 and other major sport events. However, because hGH is often taken by doping athletes in the offseason for the anabolic effect, the test is most effective when implemented in a no-advance-notice out-of-competition strategy."
I can't post a link because I have too few posts. However, the information is easily found by doing a search for HGH at the WADA's site.Comment

According to the WADA, there is a scientifically validated testing method, but the site mentions that it is not yet commercially available. However, that seems somewhat irrelevant, since it was administered at the Summer Olympics in 2004:
