I still think Jones might have a chance if he keeps his hands going. He must be active not like his first few fights after the Tarver and Johnson losses where he mostly stayed in his shell. Roy's biggest flaw right now is that he is so stationary. Hopkins still got good footwork.
Realistically their footwork is comparable... It's true all the fights Roy has had trouble with are pressure fighters... Bernard is going to box and counterpunch and thats also what Roy will do... It's a good pace for Roy... should be very interesting.

**** man Jones should try for a Green rematch and win then face Bhop, believe it or not i think Jones could actually beat Bhop, i don't see Bhop knocking him out really..

I saw an interesting video on you tube about R.Jones head around the side and back of it.. if he can protect those vunerable areas better he can still do something in boxing.

Roy has a rematch clause with Green, but Danny is allowed one fight in between.

Didn't Roy try to get the rematch but Green said he wasn't interested?

I see Hopkins just fighting on the inside against Roy like he did against Pavlik, and knocking him out in the middle rounds. Roy is also an open book these days for straight right hands from the outside.

I don't know, he probably did..

I mean he needs a rematch and win over Green more for making Bhop-Jones look like a proper match up imo. However is this fight happening lol? cause i have been hearing about this and now im just reading Bhop is going to face Ruiz or Haye (Haye) later this year..

Nah, he went for it.. and credit to him for doing so. He was having a good 3 fight win streak and he risked that by fighting Joe. I think he under-estimated Joe as a fighter as most people tend to do so... It was a bad matchup at this stage of Roys career.. but **** it, he went for it.

Bernard is going to box and counterpunch... Roy is very good at maintaining a distance where he can hit you and you can't hit him... Bernard will have trouble Roys handspeed, and Roy will have trouble with Bernard setting traps.. but this will fought in the center of the ring.

Roy-Bernard is signed and delivered. Bernard is talking about after this fight.
