Now that he has said that he doesn't intend to defend his Jnr Welterweight title, The Ring should ask him to relinquish his Ring Jnr Welterweight belt.

In that case though the ring should strip floyd of any p4p status in the top 5. Isn't the same that Floyd isn't fighting anyone remotely close to his size or skill level. ring is a joke anyways after oscar bought them. does anyone even subscribe to that **** anymore?

it's kind of logical since thats his only fight at 140.i think pac rather defend his welterweight title he took from cotto in the best division in boxing over the ibo at junior welter which only really has bradley. still the way pac destoyed a guy who had never lost at that weight in two rounds was pretty shocking. it took fraud like 10 or something at welter hahahah.

i like pwill a lot but his name should really be pillow puncher cause he needs to work on his power. martinez jumped at the oppurtunity to fight pwill at a weight class higher and still beat him. people don't want to fight him cause he has no following and brings no money and yea he's tough to beat. but after what martinez did he is def beatable.

About bloody time and all. They should strip him of the Ring belt too, since there are guys actively fighting at 140 who are much more deserving of that title (i.e. Bradley or the winner of Alexander-Urango).

Oh, and for those slagging off the IBO belt - BoxingScene has obviously taken a liking to them, since they have an advert for the organisation on the front page. :wnk1: Plus, all the greats of the past 15 years have held the IBO title, so that lends it plenty of credibility IMO.

I'm not going to act like the IBO belt means nothing. Botomline you have you be a world champion to recieve it. Does anyone not respect the dedication and work required to recieve any type of belt in the first place? **** I respect people who won the golden gloves. It takes a lot of hard work. Had to vent for a bit. It finally gives others a chance to fight for the belt and ups the activity level in the division. I'm glad it gives others a chance to win something with all their hard work.
