I did feel that Ricky should retire, but thinking about it now it could be a good thing he's returning.

If he sticks to his plan of losing the weight before training begins and he puts in a solid performance against a good opponent then it will be great for the fans to see him end his career on such a note - rather than a humiliating 2 round defeat.

I just hope he doesn't build up the fans hopes too much this time.

I don't get it, if someone doesn't want to watch Ricky Hatton then don't, he's not asking you to, if you're not a fan then watch someone else. But if one does watch him then don't ***** about it to everyone else who does want to see him fight again.

Even though he "beat" my mate Kostya Tszyu, I haven't had enough of Little Ricky. I'm not nearly done watching him take the piss and get thoroughly beaten into retirement.

If he has the desire to still fight and win I say give it one more go..But i wish he wasn't such a sore loser. I still think he can give back.

I'd love to see it once more, (for more than 2 rounds) - I really want to see prime Ricky Hatton, but thats not going to happen... But honestly he did get brutally ko'd by 2 of the best fighters in the world, so i need to see him in a fight with someone who's really good but he can compete with to tell if he's done and washed up yet...

We used to think you were sincere Ricky, not anymore.

Now I think Hatton and his dad are milking the fans dry- please take your delusions and retire, stop embarrassing yourself..you can't fight at 140 without doing yourself serious harm. No decent trainer wants to touch you. There is little chance at 147 unless someone comes up from the lower weights..

Youre a 31 yr old going on 40...Please please retire for your sake and ours.
well said , and talking of milkin fans dry i recall ricky the day before the pac fight sayin put your mortgage on me empty your bank accounts and put it on me !!!! this after knowing he was in terrible shape overtrained and had worse trainin camp ever !! so thats how much he thinks of his fans
