Eddie Chambers, same thing. Prior to last year, he looked like a decent boxer, but who looked like just another fat cruiserweight who decided to eat his way to heavyweight. So, he changed his eating and training habits and - Voila! - I now present you the best American heavyweight today.

And charisma does go a long way in rallying fans. Lennox Lewis was far more appreciated after he retired than during his reign. While he was champ, everyone was bitching that Tyson and Holyfield were way too far past their prime to do anything about it. Skillwise, Lewis was an exceptional heavyweight, which forced you to pay attention. But he didn't exactly carry a massive fanbase between any of the countries he's called home.
I disagree with the fact that you are disagreeing with his disagreement.

    j/k

You can have Emmanuel Stewart, Buddy McGirt, or whoever you want, but " The Nipple" will never look any better. His style is what it is and his drive and discipline is what it is. This guy just doesn't seem to have the hunger or desire to push himself to the limit. His body tells it all in a nut shell. Anyone who takes their boxing career serious, will show in their physique. Arreola the (.)(.) clearly doesnt give a **** ass about what kind of shape he is in.

Chambers has skill and speed. Who cares about charisma ? I want a fighter, not a talker. The division would have to get in even worse shape (can it happen ?) for Arreola to ever become champion. I wish Tua took a fight with Arreola and knocked him out. One of Arreola biggest physical flaws, other than his weight, is his reach despite that he is 6,4. 196 cm is not enough for his size
Interesting take on Arreola, you might be right but I think the writer, and some fans myself included, see potential in Arreola that he isn't reaching. I would love to have seen a Tua fight, whichever guy would win it'd be great while it lasted.

It's really good to know that within the next 11 1/2 months there will be fights that make me feel the same way as I did watching Diaz Marquez, Williams Martinez, Pacquiao Hatton, Ortiz Maidana and so on...

I hoped Minto would knock him out. The US has no heavyweight division.

The Minto fight was just to try to erase the Klitschko defeat. If he were lighter he would be quicker, something he needs to beat the best, but will never do.
Buster climbed to the mountain top the night he beat Tyson. Soon after, he fell from that same mountain due to lack of dedication and a return to bad habits. Arreola will never know a glorious win of such magnitude. He only knows the sensation of loss after being given and then squandering a cherished opportunity.
It is the squander that Chris cried over: not the sense of loss a man feels after working so hard for something and losing it by a hair. Arreola barely won a frame against the beautifully conditioned and game Russian.
How long would Brian Minto have lasted against Tyson or Lewis. The true tale of Chris Arreola is contained in that query.
