if he fights on regular television, people can catch the replay later on in the night or the next day or dvr it. Then they will just go ahead & purchase the ppv to watch a entertaining ass whooping.just to clarify, because i think you missed my point... I'm a boxing fan, i'm not just a floyd fan or a manny fan, actually if floyd vs manny happens i'll be rooting for manny...
i was saying that if mayweather was vindictive enough to take less money and hurt top ranks ppv, he'd fight cintron on regular hbo or showtime. Because i think alot of us fans of both fighters that are going to buy the best card on march 13th whoever that may be (undercard included), would take a free floyd vs kermit over a 59.95 manny vs joshua and vise versa... both cards are interesting but neither opponent is enough of a threat to make one an obvious "better fight"
with clottey, we're watching to see if manny can ko him.... not cause we think he might win, but just to see if manny can beat him in a fashion no one else has....
with floyd we're watching just cause we want to see what floyd looks like against a bigger stronger guy, we watching to see if kermit can land a good punch or if he'll just miss for 12 rounds...
Both fighters are "live" but both are heavy underdogs...
So if i had the choice of watching one fight for free, vs paying 59.95 i'd lean towards the free one..
either way, it would never happen, i just wanted to post a hypothetical...Comment
