If Mayweather Had Fought Cotto after Clottey??

I give Team Pacquiao this, they have been smart picking fights up until now. The Cotto fight for Pac was perfect timing. Pac is literally the only guy who could of got accolades for beating Cotto at that time. Had Floyd fought Cotto immediately after his performance vs Clottey. I think most fans would say Floyd was picking on a worn fighter. Cotto took heavy punishment from Clottey and Margarito, to the point that most in the industry feel he is no longer the same fighter.

Team Pac realized they could make people completely forget about Cotto's decline simply by moving up to welter, forcing a catchweight, and emphasizing that Cotto is the bigger, stronger man. Floyd already being a welterweight would of just been criticized for fighting Margarito's leftovers.

What evidence do I have that this is true? Well Mayhaters are already referring to Cintron as Plasterito's leftovers. Once again a perceived easy fight for Floyd is a Great Fight for Pacquaio.

And notice I made this great point and didn't even bring up Roids.

      Who gives a ****?

Manny and Floyd are at a point that the only meaningfull fight for either guy are against each other.

Tell that to Bob Arum, he seem's to think Pac-Clottey is a bigger fight, I'll tell you what it is straight up, an extra payday for Arum, knowing the inevitable loss that Pac will suffer vs Floyd. Which translates into a loss of marketability.
