I'll give it a shot. Some reports have mentioned an April return for Floyd. Floyd has also reportedly been training for a while now.

Fact of the matter is it's all speculation since nothing has been confirmed, but if the April and training reports are true is it so crazy to think that an April date with Mosley couldn't be possible? Especially if Mosley somehow happens to have an easier fight than expected with Berto?

To me it doesn't sound that impossible.

      i agree with you.

may 1st, is what they're talking about for mosley, and may or june makes more sense than "2 weeks" from march 13th....

the only thing i DISAGREE about, is that he has "no credible" opponent for march....IMO, it has to be Paul Williams, or bust, for a march return date....

definitely NOT malinaggi, campbell, or cintron.

        answer the thread question.
They had talked about a mosley fight possibly taking place in may or june. So yes....it's possible for Floyd to wait 2 weeks and reschedule for may or june to fight Mosley. Beats the hell out of fighting Malignaggi or Matthew Hatton or Nate Campbell.

To me, any top 10 welterweight or top 5 154lbs pounder is a credible opponent, but the things is, he may not be willing to face any of these people for the reasons he will come up with. Most people are just arguing that he doesn't want to fight a true welterweight.

I don't see a reason why he has to wait on the winner, but if he's going to fight a fringe opponent, then he might as well wait.

floyd hasn't fought since september, so logically, he can fight in february if he chooses to......

but mosley? training camps are usually 8-10 weeks, so if shane were to fight berto, and TAKE ONLY 2 WEEKS OFF, he would be ready for a late april fight.....which is too soon, once you are a top level prizefighter.....c'mon, NOBODY fights, takes 2 weeks off, then jumps into another training camp....

the earliest this fight can LOGICALLY happen, is may or june.....but there's no way it happens in march or april.....even if shane KO's berto in the first round.....

That wouldn't be a good idea for mosley 2 try to get a fight less then 8 weeks after a big fight....your body needs time 2 heal from training camp....so what do people want mosley 2 do...fight on saturday and be back on training camp on monday??lmfao...that **** is not on floyd or mosley...that fight cannot happen that soon....people need 2 stop hating on floyd...loser

yes. reports say "may or june."

there is no reason why mayweather, who has sat on the shelf since september, can't fight in march, and be ready for shane in june....

ppl assume that if he fights march 13th, then that means he won't fight shane at all...

IMO, can fight march 13th, and still be ready for shane, sometime in june, but most likely in july.......

but why not schedule a tune-up for march, since he hasn't fought since september? shane hasn't beat berto yet, and if he doesn't, all this "waiting" would've been a waste of time.....

Because if floyd fights in march then he would have to put off a mosley fight for an even later date like september to allow floyd to recover from his injuries. Then it would put a potential pacquiao fight in jeopardy.

                    that's my point, dogg....

you can like floyd, or hate floyd....

                    like pacquiao, or hate pacquiao.....

but present logical arguments, and state logical opinions.....too many ppl on NSB, post ****, for no other reason, than to hate on a particular boxer.....

"wait 2 weeks," then somehow a mosley fight can be made....

                      yes....but you are "assuming" now....

you are assuming shane is gonna beat berto.....

then you are assuming mayweather-pacquiao can be made, later this year....

let's say floyd holds off, and waits for mosley.....then mosley loses in 2 weeks to berto.....then what?

why is it not possible for floyd to fight in march....fight mosley in july (IF mosley beats berto), then be ready for a pacquiao fight in december?

it's not right to assume, a floyd return in march means he won't fight mosley or pacquiao.....

the dude hasn't fought since september, what's wrong with wanting to get back in the ring?

remember, he said he wouldn't "wait" for the winner of pacquiao-cotto.....he did, and that decision is costing him now....waiting on mosley is dangerous right now.....not b/c that fight will have trouble getting made, like mayweather-pacquiao, but b/c berto has a better than good shot of upsetting mosley.
