How can people hate on Floyd vs. Cintron??

Cmon Burner, people can make the case that he's tailor made for Floyd as well. I'm cool with the fight, but I can see their perspective.

You're right, he is, but honestly, so is Clottey for Pacquiao. The difference is, Cintron can end the fight with one punch.

Both fights are very good "safety" fights for both fighters, hopefully they don't **** up the fight that's inevitably going to happen in the fall: Pacquiao - Mayweather.

I'm gonna copy and paste my response from another thread:

Cintron is fine as an interim opponent. He's no worse than Clottey IMO.

People get on him cause of the Martinez fight. Yes it was a robbery...but people act like Sergio went in there and shut him out. Let's not forget, he made Martinez look like **** as well, and it was like an 8-4 competitive but clear decision for Sergio.

And the knockout thing, look. Cintron was completely lucid after the knockdown. He was more than capable of getting up, so the people who say he was knocked out are full of it.

I don't like Cintron, but he's tall, has pop and has learned how to use his height. He's a perfectly capable opponent for Floyd, and is good enough to get Floyd's haters off his back for a little.

He probably was capable of getting up but he didn't that is what makes it a KO. And, then he had extra few minutes to recover... It was 2 robberies in one 1 fight...

As a Floyd fan, I'll man up and say it. There are only 2 acceptable fights for Floyd below 154 and they are Mosley/Berto winner and Pacquiao. Anything else is a slap in the face.

Now if he wants to go to 154 and fight Martinez or P-Will or any of the beltholders there, I'd be ok with that. Floyd may as well fight Isaac Hltaataasjsakshcjkhck9pwayo and get his bull**** welterweight belt if he's gonna fight Cintron, Campbell or Malignaggi.
