if Shane still has that Hunger to win. Its been almost a year and since he destroyed Margarito. His inactivity will most likely hurt him for this fight. The styles matchup would favor Shane in a pretty action pack fight, but he is 38 and most if not all are done by this time or on the decline.
If Shane doesn't pull this one off, he should either retire or just make as much money as can with top 10 welterweights because hes most likely won't get a fight against Pac or Floyd until next year if they try and negotiate again near fall.
One thing is for sure though, Shane has given his all to the sport and was willing to fight the best and most dangerous opponents out there when no one would give them a chance. Hats off to Shane win or lose it should be a great fight and will determine where he is at in his career.
If anyone is deserving of one big payday before their career is over it would be this man. Hopefully he gets one Mega fight against either Pac or Floyd before his career is over. He deserves one huge payday for the great fights he has given his fans so far and continues to do. GO Shane
