Sergio Martinez is so much more deserving of this fight..

Given Martinez won the fight with Williams i say an immediete rematch @ 154 btw both fighters.........I'm sick of seeing Sergio get the short end of the stick time and time again.......

floyd is naturally a lot bigger than pac. he has been at or near welter for almost 5 yrs now. he can't even make 144 so he is a welter more so than cotto. the best p4p fighters go up and fight bigger guys thats what they do. i'm not saying he is a 154 but he should be fighting the best at 147 or 154 something he is refusing to do. if he fights bradley it will be above 145 because he can't make any lower. it will be an unfair fight against a smaller guy.

He couldn't make 144 because of a 2 year layoff......in reality he should have stayed @ 140 longer than he did initially, but moved up to 147 for $$$ fights. I think as of right now 147 is perfect for him. He is older and his body would struggle to make 140 i think. As for Bradley i say when he eventually jumps ship @ 140 he will have no problems beating guys @ 147.....

Floyd needs to fight Mosley before he retires, which i think they have been planning to since he announced his return. I think that was the fight he wanted to bow out with, but given the pac debacle it may be moved forward.

To me, Haymon, Ellerbe and Floyd's plan was something like this:


1. Come out of retirement to answer a staged callout against JMM. Announced on Hattonv Pac press conference. Whip JMM and get hype going for Pac vs May.

2. Fight Matt Hatton in UK or Saul Alvarez in Vegas....... Pac's win against Cotto meant the planned fight there was pushed to this spot given fan and industry demand.

3. Fight Pac in Vegas.....destroy PPV records, get back in the money...cement legacy.

4. One last fight before retirement to enhance legacy and make another 15-20 million fighting Mosley.

This is easy work for Floyd. I won't pay for this unless the undercard is truly stacked. Cintron just learned how to box a couple of years ago. Floyd's been boxing his whole life.Cintron can punch but he'll never land **** flush on Floyd. Floyd will close the gap between them and go to work. Easy UD for Floyd Mayweather jr. No reason for this to be a PPV other then Floyd needing to get paid.

maybe cause pac just fought cotto the number 2 welter who had beat the number 1 welter in november and busted up his ear drum. i thought pac might take a bit of a rest or an easy fight like cintron. but instead he decided to fight another top 5 welter in clottey who has never been dominated and arguably beat cotto. mayweater had an easy tune up with a blown up lightweight in september, why another tune up. mosley called your boy out big time floyd should wait and fight the winner and actually take a challenge for once. its ridiculous how he finds ways to avoid everyone who can give him a good fight. fight mosley or berto or williams or martinez thats all thats acceptable at this point. Agreed, I mean if your a welterweight fight a damn welterweight not Jr. welterweight or lightweight. I think Cintron would make for an interesting fight but I would have prefered Quintana out of the WW that are free to fight in the next couple of months. I think Quintanas Movement would have given us a more exiting fight. But Cintron has improved some and has the power to end it with one shot. Lwets hope FM does not back down and fights a "elite fighter" like Matthew Hatton.

I think Floyd would lose the first 3 or 4 rds vs Quintana but i see Floyd outboxing him after that.....Cintron vs Mayweather is interesting....Floyd has the mental edge and more skill...but as you say Cintron is one of the very few in the ligher weights who has genuine one punch KO lights out power....

cintron is def good very impressive vs angulo......id have to favor floyd tho think his skills would give cintron trouble and he could possible ko him late....alot better than campbell hatton etc fights....

Floyd is not a 154 pounder.......he won a title there but he won at fighting as a welterweight.....he was 148 or 149 pounds to Oscras 158 on fight night......he didn't even bother going p to 154 he just stayed @ 147...Floyds not big enough to be at 154.....he is a welterweight
