Last I checked,
Floyd won a title at 154.
Why can't he fight a prime fighter at jr. middle again?
Is it the same reason why he can't fight a prime welter?
Floyd is not a 154 pounder.......he won a title there but he won at fighting as a welterweight.....he was 148 or 149 pounds to Oscras 158 on fight night......he didn't even bother going p to 154 he just stayed @ 147...Floyds not big enough to be at 154.....he is a welterweight

I think Cintron would be a decent opponent for Mayweather since the Pac fight fell through. Just wonder if Cintron will be at 100% physically (we know mentally he's never 100%) going back down to 147, but he should be.
But I'm with the people who say Martinez would be the far better fight from a fans' perspective.

If Mayweather wants to beat Pac in PPV on same date he needs to fight Mosley (which is not possible because of date) or PWill. or maybe Bradley a
Jr WW. Those are the options (PWill or Bradley) so Mayweather can beat Pac on PPV. Anyone less than that, I dont think HBO will support him fightin someone like M. Hatton. Bradley fight would be great and the PWill fight i dont think Money has the balls to do it.
Pac would not fight cintron.....he has a right hand...that gets him crossed of Freddies list str8 away!

cintron is a big welterweight but he is not in the top 5. he did not draw martinez he got knocked out but the ref blew the call when cintron thought it was a headbut. it should have been changed to a knockout victory for martinez he got absolutely robbed. a victory proves nothing for mayweather except that he has still not fought a top 5 welterweight. i like cintron though he is a tough kid.
