Not a good pairing IMO. Pauls strengths don't match up with the way Steward trains his fighters.

Strongly disagree. Steward would be a perfect trainer. He'd help improve Paul's jab and teach him to use his height/ reach. The only danger is that Paul won't be as entertaining but he would be more unstoppable.

But Stewards fighters fight ugly. Williams doesn't fight ugly. Steward will try to get Paul to use his reach, but employing that tactic will be at the expense of Paul's greatest asset....his workrate.

Williams can still use his workrate. His handspeed is very good for his size He would still out work people. Constant jabs, lefts, Like how he did Margarito he just boxed him silly at times..and never stopped punching but he wasnt wreckless either.

Manny can help him defense wise too.

Or he could just ruin Williams on the inside the way he did W.Klitschko, Cintron and Andy Lee, which would be a shame.

But Williams is just never gonna be that great on the outside. It's not something that Steward can teach. He looked that way against Margarito cause....it was Margarito. Margarito was the very aggressive, against guys that aren't like that Paul is a bull, and that's what makes him so good.

I can see it now. Paul throwing one-two's than tying up.
