Is Cotto vs Yuri a tuneup?

The Pacfans were hyping up Pac vs Foreman to be this toss em fight between 2 warriors, and made Yuri out to be this beast who had a very good chance at beating Pac.

Now that Cotto is fighting him, do you guys still see Yuri as an unstoppable force or is it just a tuneup for Miguel to test the waters at Jr. Middle?

No diss, this an honest question. Please try to keep it serious!

I don't think it's a tune-up the same way Jennings was but shouldn't be too tough of a fight for Cotto.

Cotto needs to get his legs back under him. Foreman is a good boxer, with little power, it should show if Cotto has anything left.

Not exactly a tune-up but nor is it a big fight. Arum clearly just wants to see where Cotto is at now and Foreman is the perfect guinea pig.

This is no tune up. From a promotional stand point this is more about bringing Miguel Cotto back to prominence than setting up a Pacquiao/Foreman showdown. Cotto is still more of a comodity than Yuri Foreman.

With that said this is still a tough fight fo both guys. I think Cotto is the favorite though. A win would really set Cotto up for a lot of money. He could fight Spinks next for 2 154 lb belts and then a potential mega fight with PWILL.

It's a good test to gauge how well Cotto competes at 154 against champion who may not be able to hurt him. Put Cotto in with Cintron, Angulo, Williams, etc. and he could get damaged.

Cotto deserves to get a somewhat easy opponent if you ask me. Cotto has fought nothing but dangerous opponents for some time, and taken loads of punishment if you ask me. It was about time he got an easy fight.
