Martinez and his camp really dont want 2 rematch PW it will be another war that neither fighter is interested in. I have not seen any articles saying Martinez and his camp are seriously persuiing a rematch with PW.

I can't really understand why someone could have some much disdain for a boxer like Williams. He isn't perfect, but he is definitely entertaining.margarito asked and even petitioned to be placed as williams mandatory forcing an immediate rematch only to have goosen and williams ask for a voluntary defense and go on to lose the belt to quintana.
quintana was nice enough to agree to a rematch shall he beats williams. he beat williams and williams ran from a much needed trilogy
martinez gives williams all he can handle and even win the fight in many eyes and asks for an immediate rematch and williams and goosen want nothing to do with it.
floyd gave castillo a rematch
morales gave pac a rematch
pac gave morales a rematch
pac gave jmm a rematch
pac gave barrerra a rematch
morales and barerra gave each other a rematch
hollyfield and bowe gave rematches
margarito gave quintana and was on his way to give cotto a rematch
pryer and arguello had a rematch
gatti and ward had a trilogy
marquez and vasquez had a trilogy
corrales gave castillo a rematch
and so on and so on
but williams being the ***** he is has had 3 FIGHTS in where the opponent deserved a rematch and he ran from each one like a *****. Most feared my ***en ass!
So to address your rant, I can agree with you that Martinez would and should be the first person to get a rematch. That bout was closely contested, it was entertaining and both fighters fought their hearts out. To call Williams a ***** after that fight is crazy!
Rematch two Quintana??? Really? I understand that Quintana "unlocked" the punisher mystery and boxed him through 12 rounds. If I recall the rematch was stipulated in the contract of their first encounter. Quintana was mandated to fight Williams in the event of a loss. A third fight would be meaningless, even if someone could argue that the rematch was SO quick that the victory might have been luck.
Margarito, the boxer fallen from grace!!! Margarito, at that time, was declared one of the most feared fighters of the division. Was Williams a "*****" then??? He clearly could have avoided Margo too. I was definitely a HUGE fan of Margo. IMO Williams fighting Margo again wouldn't be any different from their first encounter. Entertaining to say the least but the results would be the same.
I truly think Williams is talented...he has been in tough fights and has delivered. Like many other fighters, he has his weaknesses, but to say he is a "*****" is silly.Comment
